Johannes Krause (narozený 17. července 1980 v Leinefelde) je německý biochemik s výzkumným zaměřením na historické infekční nemoci a lidskou evoluci. Od roku 2010 je profesorem archeologie a paleogenetiky na univerzitě v Tübingenu. V roce 2014 byl Krause jmenován zakládajícím spoluředitelem nového Institutu Maxe Plancka pro vědu o lidské historii v Jeně.
